According to the statistics:
• Any partner visa decisions take about 480 days.
• Temporary work visas take 404 days
• Bridging visas decisions take anywhere from 40 to 254 days
• Visitor visas decisions take anywhere from 40 to 254 days
• Most other visas decisions take about 400 days
Some types of visas will occasionally be chose for early review.
Cases involving those held in detention centres, protection visas and visa cancellation appeals are given higher priority.
